    • Fresh cream – 1/4 cup

    • Kasuri methi (dried fenugreek leaves) – 1 teaspoon, crushed

Preparation Steps:

  1. Soak and Cook the Lentils and Beans:
    Soak the black lentils and kidney beans overnight in water. Drain and pressure cook with 4 cups of water, salt, and turmeric powder for 5-6 whistles or until soft and mushy. Mash lightly and set aside.

  2. Prepare the Masala:
    Heat butter and ghee in a large pan. Add cumin seeds and let them splutter. Add the chopped onions, grated ginger, and chopped garlic. Sauté until the onions turn golden brown.
